A few weeks ago I looked at their website and they had an "internet" rate of $85 for our date (night of Oct 22nd). I didn't book immediately since I was somewhat thrown by the pay-up-front requirement which is quite unusual.

Now, I went back to their site to just go ahead and book it and the site seems to have changed (layout & look) and this rate is no longer shown.

Does anyone know if this rate is gone for good or just sold out for our dates or is it something they offer periodically and I should just keep watching for it?

They have a spot to enter "promotion code" - anyone know of any of these?

They also have a link for "Special offers", but it just takes you to the "contact us" page!

Thanks for any help,

Pamela

Some have said they got a rate of $89. Travelocity shows $104.47 and Expedia $97. AAA gives $99. I called and spoke to a manager and said this wasn't so fair.

So... He said he'd take care of me. We'll see what happens. We're going 12/19.

Hope that helps. As one DIS poster said, you can only complain and see what happens!

Well I wanted to book for Sept.3 and so far will be paying $125 for one night. I tried searching for codes, and even called them about their rates to see what can be done... but nothing. I booked it, but still debating. I have till Sept. 1 to cancel.

I booked a Visist Florida rate for $94 for Sept. 22. I can cancel up to the day. I called the 800 number, and asked for AAA, then any other offers.

I did find the $85 Internet special, but for 10 more I like the flexibility of being able to cancel instead of booking up front.

To get the best rates when checking on the Internet, be sure to click on the small line that says "See all rates for this hotel."

Holiday weekends like Sept. 3 are likely to be more expensive.

Hey me too I did the same exact thing you did Jodifla!!booked the hotel the same way!!! same rates i will be at the radisson on sept 24th for the 25th magic sailing!!

We just stayed there before our July 1a0th cruise on the Magic, we have stayed at Radissons before so we knew to expect nice, friendly service. Don't expect it there! Rooms were ok(motel 6ish, front desk was less than pleasant, pool was awesome, buffet was nice, but it may have been since we had to load and unload and carry our own bags we were starving! We stayed there also after cruise (because I already booked it and everything else was sold out) and after waiting 1 hour after disminbarkment for the "free"shuttle we ended up paying for a private one to take us to the hotel.

Would not stay there again :(

We're mainly staying there for the cool pool -- we want to get in a good morning of swimming -- and the proximity to the port, so I think we'll be fine. Thought about Ron Jon, but I didn't want to be out of the room by 10 a.m.

Wow..princess..sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay..

We have had nothing but stellar service on both of our stays..the most recent being this past march. The rooms are definately not motel 6ish..lol..no red shag carpet here..lol.

The staff has been so wonderful all the way around, including maitenance people (the ac went out...and they arrived at our door in less than 2 minutes and had it going again).

The pool and music the afternoon before the cruise are wonderful.

Did you have a shuttle reservation??? We always drive to port..as we like convenience.

To those that have any questions or any complaints concerning the Radisson- speak to Joe Panackia who is the general manager there - you couldn't ask for anyone better to show as much concern as he does - he does make things right - he even gave me his cell phone to post, but it is at the shop and I am at home -I know some cruisers were not happy and he went all out to make sure that their complaints were taken care of - I have met Joe and found him to be a very honorable person and yep I would recommend the Radisson - At one time Cape Canaveral was the sleazy part of Brevard County - now it is the most upcoming in the state of Florida - we have over 20,000 visitors a week believe it or not - once upon a time we were lucky it had that in one year :-) -----anyhow speak to Joe and I am sure he will help you out and BTW he does read this board ok.
Chat with ya later and hope this helped

BTW - remember Norm and I leave Monday AM for 5 days
Hugssssssssss to all

Did you compare prices with Ron Jon's? I was quoted 90 for a studio in mid Sept with AAA discount and they allow you to park car there now.

$97 to match the other web hotel prices. And, he took away our two free buffet breakfasts.

Oh well. We might go to Grills anyway. I might talk to the manager and see what he can do when we get there.
