I have been seeing all sorts of Christmas in July stuff (QVC had it, Mouseworld Radio was supposed to be broadcasting this weekend, but had some trouble, one of the radio stations here in Phila were actually playing Christmas songs a few weeks ago@@) and it got me thinking about the Radio City Show.

It was been ages and ages since I have seen this and was wondering a good age to take children. I was wondering if it would be to much for my what will be 4 year old:( by the time it comes around. We have always taken off on his birthday and thought it might be neat to go up there and see it. Only thing, is birthday is a Thursday this year and there no earlier shows so maybe we would catch a 11:30 am on the Sat afterwards.

I just did not want to spend that much $$$$$$$ if he is still a little to young to really enjoy it.

Last your my friend took her 4 year old son, and he loved the show. I'm taking my 5 years old son and 9 year old daughter this year to the show. I can't wait I never saw the show. We are going on a bus trip should be fun.

Last year I took my pre-k students(4 year olds) to the show. They had a blast! They loved the music and dancing. Of course they hit the roof when they saw Santa.

We took the children on trips every month, the Christmas show and Bronx Zoo were huge hits.

Just had to chime in and say that the show is going on the road this year and we have tickets to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Tampa on December 20! Woo-hoo!!! What a great way to start the holidays.! I'm so glad that they are doing this. I never expected a road show of that!

Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Tampa on December 20

No fair seeing the Rockettes in Florida!! Surviving the freezing wind as it whips down Rockefeller Center is the price of admission to the show. ;)

Definitely go see it :)

We also like to see "A Christmas Carol" at MSG every other year. Darn, now I have that song in my brain and it will stay there for a few days (I know this from experience!)

Even at 4years old, the kids really enjoy the show. We took DDs when they were 4 and 5. We try to see a show every year around Christmas time! This year, we will wait till the "Buy 1 get 1 free" sale for Beauty and The Beast (usually Nov.-Jan.).

Thanks for the replies!! I think I just might do it:D It has been so long since I have seen it. Next question...where should we sit? Closer the better??

Thanks!

Sure, it's nice to see the Rockettes in Florida, but Florida is missing one thing...the Radio City Music Hall stage...that thing is a show unto itself!
