What kind of wait times has RSR had throughout the day lately? I saw a lot of reports on the first day (4-6 hours, pretty much all day), but it's been hard to find reports since then. I'm wondering if it's eased off some, or if it's still almost as long.

I'm also interested in hearing wait times for the single rider line and FP return line, and what time the FPs have been running out.

If you've had some recent experience, please share some details!

Those of us with upcoming trips will sure appreciate it. :)

I am guessing that today is pretty busy because it is the last day for SoCal AP holders. I am thinking that will make a little difference on the wait times of lines. How much? No idea because it is summer time.

We will be in the park tomorrow and I will make a not to look at wait times and post on Sat.

Stayed away from DCA today because I was warned of SoCal passes. DL was very managable this morning. Only 30 minutes for matterhorn, and I was stupid enough NOT to use single rider line :headache:

Last check on my two different phone apps, RSR is at least a 2 hour wait. Been here 2 days and haven't done it yet. Will go first thing in the morning for a fast pass. Last night it was 175 minutes at it's peak according to my app. And at dinner time it broke down. I was told it happened the night before as well. I was told by a CM upon entry yesterday that it wasn't opening until 12 noon today for some work/tweaking. Hopefully tomorrow morning goes smooth for us so we can experience other things.

RSR looks really cool, and I can't wait to ride it, but my favorite part of Carsland so far has been the characters. Yes, the Cars crew characters are out. They roll through the streets and head to the cozy cone for meet and greet. My kids met Mater and McQueen yesterday, and DJ came out with some crew and they danced in the middle of the street while he played the tunes. It was very cool.

You can get a lot of very different hours for this because the attraction has been closed for mechnical reasons a lot. So some people have gotten in line right after and had a short wait or in line and got in behind a line that hadn't moved.

SRL about 20-45 minutes.
FP return about 30-45 minutes.

FP can run out around 9am.

I was there Tuesday and have been checking my lines apps regularly. RSR was 180 minutes throughout the day Tuesday. Yesterday and today I saw it up to 270, but mostly it's been 120-180. I did the single rider Tuesday. It posted at 60 minutes but we got on within 50 minutes each of 2 times each with a 15 minute breakdown during our wait. If it hadn't broken down our wait would have been more like 35 minutes.

FP's have been gone by 9:15 each day since opening.

I think the average waits everyday since opening has been 150-240 mins which is insane! I think the ONLY time it has fallen under 2 hours since opening was the second day of opening on Saturday where it fell to a CRAZY 80 mins for maybe an hour or so!

So yeah, its c-r-a-z-y! I think once more APers are blocked and people have gotten their fill of the ride it will probably drop in the average 1-2 hour range in a few weeks, but I have a feeling 2+ hours will be the norm all summer!

We went on it Wednesday the 27th at around 11am and although the single rider wait time said 60 minutes, we got on in about 40 minutes. The family I rode with said they waited 3 hours in the stand by line!

We were there all week this past week June 25-30) and the standby line was always 2+ hours. The single rider line was usually between 60 and 75 minutes. However, the ride went down everyday for some portion of the day. Sometimes more than once. One guy that rode with us said he had been in line 5 hours. The ride had gone down twice for at least an hour each time.

We were there yesterday (Sunday 7/1) and we have the GAC. We were given a time to come back (2 hours later) and entered the FP line at 7:00 p.m. It took us 20 minutes at the most to get through the FP line. The lady who rode next to me said she had been in the stand-by line for three hours. The time posted on the single rider line was 45 minutes long around that time.

On Saturday and Sunday, the fast passes were distributed before 9am.

The Fast Pass queue took about 20 minutes for 5 of us, both days.

We asked the single riders who joined us and their wait times were 30-40 minutes.

Nope it's still the same. Maybe the fast pass distribution lasts until 9:15, but no later it seems. SB line is still very, very long (120+ minute wait). FP line goes by rather quickly and same with Single Rider.

and this is why when we go in oct we will only go to carsland in the AM never in the middle of the day

I've been checking Otto, the automated info hotline, and wait times for attractions have been somewhat lower this past week. But the crowds could be back next week when the AP blockouts lift.

You can call Otto to check wait times yourself at (714) 520-7090.

I have also been checking the time posting sites, and it seems like the standby wait is much more often 100 minutes or less now, whereas it was always 120-180+ during most of July. The past 2 weeks in general have been less crowded than July, but I suppose that is expected.

I was with my DB's family on Monday and Tuesday this week. On Monday, he said that racers didn't go below 100 minutes. Tuesday, he checked early afternoon and the wait was 70 minutes. They rode it Tuesday afternoon and then checked again late that night and it was 90 minutes but my DSIL was done for the day. He used MouseWait for his trip and found it pretty right on.

I am interested also but we aren't going until fall/winter season.

Summer season AND SoCal AP blackouts or AP open days will affect the wait times. When it gets closer to our trip I'll be scanning the boards or asking the same question if I can't find this thread again.

We were there this past Sunday through Tuesday (Aug. 12th-14th). Sunday we stayed in Disneyland but both Mon and Tues went to CA. Stood in fast pass line on both mornings at 8:00. Very long line but once it starts moving it goes fast. Had our fast passes for RSR by 8:35 on mon and by 8:45 on tues. rode in afternoon on mon with fp - only in line for 12 minutes!! Standby line was at least 90 min most of day when I checked. Our car broke down right as we finished with ride. Didn't quite make it to the unloading area. Maintenance guy came and actually pulled open our hood like a regular car!! Too funny. But our car held up the entire ride - we were just glad it broke down after we had finished!! Love that ride! On tues we wanted to use our fp to ride at night. Again sb line was at 90 plus minutes and we walked right on with our fast passes. We waited only 10 minutes! It was even more fun in dark and this time our car didn't break down. We did find that cars land was more crowded on tues than Monday. Luigis line was at 40 min within minutes of role drop on tues. whereas on mon luigis was only 15 minute wait right after rope drop. Hope this info helps. After all of the cars land hype and my anticipation of it, I can tell you that I was not disappointed!! And it is a must-see at night! I hope to write a trip report soon while it is all fresh in my brain!

I'm going to DRL with my wife Sept 6-10th, so I'm hoping the lines have died off a bit and fast past waits have diminished.

I have been talking up Cars Land, would be a bummer if we can't get tickets to ride.

We are going the first full week of November, and are hoping for small crowds too.

I couldn't imagine standing in lines for 3 hours with 2 children 5 and under.
