Maybe he has other things on his plate and his job requirements than responding to people who would literally book a trip around one (or two) rides. Abosultely crazy to me. Once again, my kids are just happy to be going. If one ride will disappoint a child to the point of not booking the trip, then I think there are bigger issues. A little perspective please.

if you had the choice of going when you could ride a favorite ride, or not, why would you not go when you could ride? People have different reasons to choose the dates for THEIR vacation, and you have no right to judge how they choose those dates.

This is FYI - not judgmental. There is an Ignore feature you can use if you feel that you are being attacked. I have used it myself. You can go into your User CP and set it if you want.

When you use Ignore then you do not see posts from the ignored person. That may be a better alternative than feeling like you need to defend yourself. Otherwise what happens is each person feels the need to "get in the last word". And the exchange never ends until a mod closes the thread.

Again, not judgmental, but we understand your point. You are booking your vacation around one or two rides. I get why you're doing it. I do not even think it is a bad choice. Repeating the point over and over is not getting anywhere.

Take a deep breath. Use Ignore if you feel like it. And I really hope your trip works out as magically as want it to.

Maybe some just don't get the point that some of our kids have saved their pennies and loonies and quarters for years just to get to go on this kind of trip and to hear some say, "if my kid can't ride rsr, they will be devastated" seems kind of amazing to some. I am a travel agent and my kids have to go to mexico with me once or twice a year for work, but Disney has always been their dream and I don't make much, so we all save. To hear some think that their five year old can't ride one ride is infuriating as mine would just love to go, but you can't ignore me or whatever, but I thought we were all allowed opinions. It's supposed to be a happy place, not an entitled place!

We have received several complaints (reports) about this thread and its predecessor in only a couple of days. If I recall correctly, Mary Jo also said something about the tone of this whole discussion in the first thread on this topic, and asked that people respect each other's opinions. All I see is what appears to be ongoing arguing. This is not an argument board. It's a discussion board.

So if this cannot be turned around into some sort of non-hostile discussion, the thread will have to be closed.

Yeah, I lived in those days. Even saw the construction of Epcot from my hotel balcony. I prefer these days of instant gratification where any Tom, Dick, or Harry can post a rumor and half the world believes it because it's on the interent so it must be true.
