So, based off the dining reviews I've read recently, Tutto Italia and Grand Floridian Cafe seem to be the new trendy places to eat xD

We ate at Tutto Italia. It was way too posh for us, plus my mum has an allergy to rosemary, and we found out most of the food contains it -_- I did like the dessert though

If I had the choice, I would go on a DDDP (Dessert Disney Dining Plan). All you're restricted to eating on the plan is dessert (plus one counter service) and you can use 2 points to get a TS meal. I would go for that. All i'm really interested with eating is the desserts.

But isn't one of your complaints about DCA is that it keeps reminding you you're in California? Did I dream that?

True, but if they actually were sticking to a cohesive, fully immersive Californian theme in which they didn't constantly need to remind you you were in said state, Soarin' is the only Californian themed ride that's not too overbearing. (In fact the only current ride actually themed to California vaguely).

I complained that there were 8 instances of the word California looking in the hub. You should make people feel like they're in California by theme, not by constant wordy reminders.

But the whole theme of California is freaking stupid in the first place, Soarin' just has a special place in my heart. (Espesh 'cause I'm a California native, who didn't get to see much of her state).

Soarin' is just awesome. I hope if they do make a new video, they would rotate the videos used, so California is still in it.

DYK that the opening speech for DHS doesn't have a plaque? It did have one back when it was MGM, but they took it out after they changed to DHS. The statue where it was (a man behind a camera) is still there.
