Amen! This probably sounds bad, but everytime we go to WDW now I'll constantly be comparing it to Disneyland. Everything is just sooooooo much better at DLR. Too bad I live across the whole freaking country.

WDW's always gonna be the best for me. I guess it's the whole first one thing combined with my MAW trip.

A little tip, if there's a REALLY long line on one side, head down the other. It's usually a walk on type thing. A maybe 5-10 minute wait.

I don't think people realize this until they visit, otherwise they're completely stubborn about WDW

Trust me I'm in the same boat. When I started researching DL, I had a total bias towards WDW, but the more I saw/remembered, the more I realized that DL v. the MK... is just no comparison.

The only things better in WDW, to me, are the JC, the HM (thanks to more space + refurb), and it has the TTA

Even the castle and Main Street in the MK seem so cynical and overbearing to me sometimes.. not charming. (I still love them, though)

Which reminds me, I rode Peter Pan in DL and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it v/ the MK's version. I don't think anyone realizes they're different, but they are slightly. I regret not being able to ride any other FL ride other than the Matterhorn, but I'll be a local there in two years ;D

Last night there was a football game here and we had a moment of silence because of 9/11.
They were like "A moment of silence please"
And then some jerk was like "No! I refuse! I'm not doing this. This is crap. I dont care about 9/11"
Everyone got really annoyed. Then the speaker person said "Thank you. You may all sit now"
And the jerk said "No, eff you."
Ughhhh I got so upset! I wanted to jump at him!

I do want to visit DL one day.

It's really just Quality v. Quantity.

As a resort WDW is probably better (4 parks, like 24 hotels, waterparks, etc). For quality and a different "homey"/charming/Walt-was-here feeling, DL is definitely the place to go.

She sold the property to Disney cheap. But they had to give things to children for free for 50 years.
