I love going to Florida, although this year there will be some sort of sadness in me in going there. Too bad my friend isn't closer to Orlando (she's 2 hours away from it, I think).

Bringing a newbie should be fun!

I read that they took the wand down, because originally, it was going to be for the Millenium (which was my first visit) and also for the 25th Anniversary of Epcot.

I wish I went to WDW when Stitch's Great Escape opened. They teepeed the castle XD

That's so cool! I was there for the 25th anniversary, or whatever the one with the castle dressed as a cake was.

Ha Ha that is great. I didn't get to see that either. As for bringing a newbie to WDW that would be so much fun. We would go non stop and it would be just crazy.

ITA, the castle cake was just weird.

I didn't like it, looking back (I was 4 then, so everything was hunky dory!)

back then when I saw it I think I was like 4 years old or something and I thought is was fantastic. Now looking at the pictures of the Castle cake it looks very cheesy.

LOL. It must have been a kids dream come true. "Wow mummy! The castle's made of cake!" What a big disappointment it would have been when they weren't allowed to eat it.

You know what. That should have sold birthday cake in the shop that's inside the castle, like they do for the gingerbread house in the Grand Floridian.
