Yeah.
I didn't keep touch with barely anyone.
I got rid of 2 best friends and am starting to let the 3rd one slide.

It sound's stupid but when I am around my old friends and ex-friends,I just get really self-conscious of myself.

oh, I'm sorry. but high school can be a new start. I left all my friends behind when I went to high school but that's because I started boarding school that year. but I am still best friends with my best friend that I have known since I was 2. I dropped one of my other best friends that I knew pretty much my entire life before going into high school and it wasn't because of the school change, cuz she already didn't live near me any way. But yea, you loose friends and so you make new ones, I love my new friends, if i didn't I would be pretty screwed seeing as I live with them, but still. you'll be fine.
