I had a great time in my Half Marathon today! For anyone looking for a nice early fall Half Marathon, this is definitely one I'd recommend. Especially because it runs down Lake Shore Drive with a nice view of the downtown area and the lakefront.

Next up: The Fox Valley Fall 20 Mile race on the 16th! My last Long Run before tapering for the Chicago Marathon. Yikes!

I had an awesome time at my first Half Marathon on Saturday.

Readers of Runner's World magazine may have read about the Bird-In-Hand Half Marathon in an article early this year.

The event was wonderful. A very nice, challenging course. Great organization and support on race day, and community support out on the beautiful, serene course.
