OK, last time I refreshed Maura was already showing for passing the 1/2 point. But I don't know CindyLou's last name or bib#. So if anyone hears how Cindy is diong please post.

Sending the gals lots of P.D. to help them fly fly fly along on the course!!!!

If I'm not mistaken, Cindy is past the 25k point. There were only 2 Cindys from Massachusetts, so I narrowed it down according to how old I think she is. Anyway, if I'm right, she's doing great!

Go ladies. :cheer2:

I think I found Maura finish 3:46:59. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't have enough to info to find Cindy

Those guys are crazy 4:25 avg miles!

I was just on the other Boston thead and was wondering how Cindy and Maura were doing. Sounds like their doing great.

If I'm tracking the right one, Cindy finished in 4:30:50.
Both Cindy and Maura did great!

Thanks for all the encouragement.

Tandy: You are right my time was 4:30:50.

It was a fun race. A bit warm for me, but a great tail wind. I made it thru all but one hill feeling pretty good. The last one did me in. My pace definitely slowed after that.

Joan: I think Maura's final time was 4:00:14. The 3:46 was her 40K time. Still an awesome time. I can't wait to hear how her experience was.

On the couch relaxing now. I'm going to be hurting tomorrow. Glad that there aren't too many stairs at work.

Have a great night everyone.

Congratulations and I hope you had a great time!

Thanks for the WISHes everyone. Just got back home. Race report to follow (maybe). Experience was great, race was not pretty. Overestimated my capability and while I tried not to go out too fast, I did and faded very quickly (like before mile 10?). And whoever said the hills didn't start til mile 16 lied.

BUT....it was a phenomenal race to run. Crowds like you have never seen. Well organized and very exciting (and cheaper than Disney!)

Maura

Tandy Thanks for posting on CindyLou. I did get the update so was happy to hear she was doing so well.

CindyLou and Maura .... you both did AWESOME!!!! CONGRATS!!!! Show us the bling!!!!

I was wondering when the hills started. I was watching the times but didn't know where the hills. I had to recharge my phone at work which is something I rarely do but thanks to all the BAA searches i was doing that day I about killed my phone  I should have put a note up at my door... "Do not bother me, today is the Boston Marathon and I can not be disturbed" :lmao:

Congrats Cindylou and Maura!!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Thanks everyone.
