Race for the Taste 10k-can you run with a strollers?

Just curious if anyone knows if we can bring our 2yo along for the ride in the jogging stroller.

Disney said the same thing about running in the 5K with strollers but my DD9 at the time almost got run over by one. We saw several people with jogging strollers. We also asked before we went because we wanted our DS to join in the FAMILY FUN RUN but we were told he couldn't. We were a little upset that some people got away with it.
