I have my TS planned with ADR's, my CS I know which ones in each park; r u all planning ur Snacks too. Coz i dont wanna waste them on an impulse buy and find something very nice later. we have decided not to pay anything OOP for food. So should I plan it or are 15 snack credits for 4 days more than enough for 2 Aduls and a 4 yr old to include any bad choices?:confused3

I always have a couple of items in mind that I know I don't want to miss out on, and will go out of my way to make sure I get those. Most of the ideas came from this board--it's a great source for snackaholic treats!

Otherwise, I'm not going worry about it. Frankly, we had a lot of leftover snack credits at the end that I wished we'd used up earlier in the trip (but I was never that hungry and my family says I was a little stingy last time, scowling at them if they used snack credits for things like water:rolleyes1 ).

DDP has so much food, we hardly snacked at all. Our last day we had 14 snacks to use up... so we snacked through the whole day. We did buy a soda or 2 with a snack credits, but brought our own water from home. I can never justify buying water unless we have run out in our cooler!

The VERY BEST snack I've ever had at WDW was a bottle of water while waiting in the blistering heat for Girlie to see Ariel. I've had some pretty good snacks, but none better than that one!

No, we'll wing it. We have ADRs for our TS, but we'll decide on the CS and snacks that day.

I'm planning on having a couple of dole whips if that's what you mean. Oh, and I think dh will love the make your own marshmallows from the candy store. I don't worry about the little things...:dance3:

I have scheduled a lunch in August at Epcot to snack around the world. Last November, I notice a family of 6 standing outside the Norway Bakery cutting up one School bread into 6. I thought it was kind of weird until we sat down for lunch couldn't finish our 2 CS at Tangerine Cafe. We were so full that we couldn't try anything else.

I know, I know, I just need to give in on the water thing. Because those ice cold ones do taste so much better than the one that's been sitting in my bag all day (and refilled from the water fountains 3 times). Still, it's water, and there's half a case back in the hotel room. :headache:

I think I'm going to try and "plan" my snacks a little better this time around. I too felt like I wanted something at times...but didn't want to make a hasty choice on just anything....in the end we ended up with a ton of snack credits left over and just stocked up on things like the rice crispy MM heads. Now that there are more snacks that your able to get on the DDP I think knowing ahead of time what some "good" snacks there may be would be benificial. Anyhow....I'm planning on looking into it.

BTW....I just found what looks like some YUMMY snacks on another thread:thumbsup2 There's a bunch of yummy sounding goodies at Goofy's Marketplace in DTD...that I think I'll check out for sure.

I also have all my TS ADR's scheduled and I'm using most of my CS credits for breakfast at our hotel. As for snacks....I KNOW I'm getting a Dole Whip (nevver had one but NEED one now because of this board) and also a Rice Krispie Treat from Goofy's Candy Co (also nevver had one but NEED one now because of this board) As for my other 6 snack credits that I will have left....I'll just wing it. We'll probably be too full to use them each day, so at the end of our trip, we'll just stock up on some stuff for the plane.

Yes and no. There are a few things I definately want to get-a dole whip, cheese stuffed pretzel, mickey ice creams for the kids. We will also be there during F & W so at least one day we will be snacking around the food booths. If we have any credits left, we are going to Downtown Disney on our last day and will use them all at Goofy's Candy Company!:woohoo: I'm sure we will use some credits here and there just for a cold drink or an extra order of fries for DS who is too young for the plan. I will most likely print out the list and keep it with me for reference.

I was there during F&W and don't remember being able to use my snack credits at the booths. I was still at goofy candy co buying krispy treats and such at the end.

I pretty much plan mine but I'm not going to cross the park to get itpopcorn:: well maybe:rolleyes1 as I have 42 snacks credits to use

Here's my plan:
Breakfast from BB, BCM, & possibly Screen Door depending on the CM I get;)
Norway,Japan & Fountainview/Epcot
Aloha Isle,MS confectionery,Enchanted Grove/MK
Goofy's/DTD
Slushies&frozen lemonade/AK
Beveryly Sunset & Writers stop/MGM

I'm going to be using ours for bagels/donuts/milk/chips. A bag of bagels and box of donuts for most breakfasts, milk (maybe have to get 2x), bag of chips or something similar for everyone to split when the munchies hit each day. Then there are still about 10 credits left for the kids to get a few treats.

We pay OOP for drinks. We don't hoard our SC. When they are gone they are gone and we pay OOP for any other snacks we want. We are on vacation and I want to have what I want to have when I want it. Just call me Veruca Salt.

I'm thinking along these lines for breakfast a couple days, but we'll wing it for the most part.

After the first few days, we have a hard time using the snack credits as well. It was so nice this last trip when they had changed things a little and you could get that box of donuts or bag of chips.

So, no we don't plan snack credits. So far we have had a hard time using them after the first couple days. Which is o.k. by me, I bring home rice krispie treat mickey's with the chocolate ears to eat when I am blue a few days later!

I've heard so much about these boxes of donuts...can some one tell me more about them? Like how many credits, how big of a box, where do you find them and what kind of donuts are they? :goodvibes

Our rule of thumb was if the snack item was $2.00 or under (not worth wasting a snack credit, in our opinion) we paided OOP.:)
