When it changes over are they going to remove the mushroom filet off the menu. It is the only reason I go so I would do lunch if it is stll on there.

It'll be interesting to find out...We have finally gotten ADRs here for March so I'm hoping they leave a steak choice on the lunch menu. Kind of defies the whole purpose of going for us if they don't offer some red meat option for lunch.

I have been wondering this also. Lecellier is our favorite place and the fillet is our favorite thing to order. I REALLY think even if the fillet is off the lunch menu there will still be other steak choices. I mean it's a steakhouse after all. I have heard people say that the fillet will be served at lunch it just may be bigger at dinner. I will be making adrs next month and I would love to know by then. Let's keep out fingers crossed!!

I'd go ahead and make an ADR either way because Le C changes their menu fairly regularly. Since they are supposedly entirely changing the dinner menu it's really hard to tell what will happen especially with the 1TS/2TS split. I would doubt that lunch would just be smaller portions than dinner because they don't want dinner customers to feel like they are way over paying. I'm sure there will be steak of some kind on the menu though but wonder if it may be in different formats than dinner like a sandwich, salad, etc.

When we ate there in December, our waitress told us it would still be on the lunch menu. Crossing my fingers that she is right!!

I know that right now the filet at lunch is smaller than the one at dinner so I hope they will keep it on the menu

I am anxiously awaiting to see the new menu for dinner, then I will know whether or not I want to make and ADR for lunch instead of dinner which is going to be 2 credits.

This is completely OT, but I have to ask! Is your name spelled Brook with no E? Mine is and every Brook I've ever met spelled their name Brooke! :-)
I have always blamed my mom for that one! :-)

Actually it is my daughters name, she is spelled with an E. I must have used it somewhere I could only use 9 digits.
Her full name is Brooke Lynn.( Brooklynn was going to be her first name but my mom said that was crule to do to her and guess what she calls her ) Either way I would luv the name.

I think that is their signature dish, so I'd be really shocked if they removed it. I'd also be cancelling my lunch ADR for April!

I think the switch is going to dramatically change the lunch menu to add perceived value to the increased cost for dinner. Guess we'll know for sure when the menus are finalized.

I love the name Brooklyn..I hear it more & more now. Either way your daughter has a pretty name! I just wish mine were spelled with an E like everyone elses...it would have saved me years of saying "no E"...LOL :)

As I was reading the concern over a possible menu change at LeCellier (a steakhouse with no filet at lunch...what is it coming to?!?), I could feel my blood pressure going up. I was reading another thread about menu changes (rumored changes at that) at 'Ohana and I have to vent my frustration with regard to any menu changes! It has come to the point that you are forced to make your ADRs 180 days out if you want the remote possibility of enjoying your favorite restaurants and although I understand menu changes happen, you are making your reservations based on the info that is out there at the time you make the reservation. If changes are going to happen, Disney should make it very well known that changes are on the horizon and give an estimated date (maybe the expected month) that a new menu is being made available. At least we could make informed decisions, especially when BIG changes occur.
Whew...thanks for letting me get that out there!

Menus do change regularly, and change should be expected - at least seasonally. If nothing changes, fine. But the Le Cellier change was announced back last fall - yes, about six months before it's going into effect. Not the actual menu, no; but that there IS a change coming.

Yes, we were aware of the change with regard to the table service credits, that was made well in advance. I was simply referring to menu changes. Food and atmosphere both draw people to a particular restaurant and if you show up and one of those things is drastically changed (and if your favorites that drew you there to begin with are gone), it can certainly affect the experience. :)

Wow I sure hope they dont remove the fillet from lunch, I was anxiously awaiting my 180 to make lunch ADR for that reason, it our fave meal in WDW, but Im sorry its just not worth 2TS. The in the cellar, rubbing elbows with the tablenext to you atmosphere is what makes it not worth 2TS IMHO, tried other dishes and the filet was the only one we really liked. Guess I will await the early March change and see the outcome, I cant make my ADR until later in March anyway..

But what changed at Ohanas???? Only change I would hope for is bringing the potatos back, everything else is wonderful!

Awe.. I really hope this isn't the case.. The filet is the whole reason why I booked Mother's Day at Le Cellier.. I would be SO disappointed.. :(
With regards to Ohana's.. There was a thread started the other day that stated the updated menu on Allears no longer shows the potstickers or the chicken wings as a choice and now it says just cut pineapple.. (Don't shoot the messenger ;))
