Would it make more sense to take a 6:55pm or 8pm reservation for Rose & Crown if we are a party of 6 and want an outdoor table for 9pm illuminations viewing? We are willing to take our time eating if needed, and I am wondering if by 8pm the outdoor tables will be settled in already and not leaving?

I would say that 8pm is a little late. Take the 6:55pm. We always tell our server ( if we're lucky enough to be seated outside) that we are going to watch Illuminations. We'll order food and extra drinks and Tip generously for taking a longer time.

I would do 6:55 as well. If you can't get outdoor seating, they will let you go outside and view Illuminations from their private viewing area reserved for R&C diners. We've done that before- it's a little crowded but a great view!

Wonderful, thanks for the advice. We already had the 6:55 but an 8:00 had opened up and I wasn’t sure if I should grab it. We’ll stick with the 6:55.
