I see how people can quote several responses in one reply message. How does this work? And I hope I am posting this in the right place!? :scratchin

You can copy & paste different people's comments into one post. To get it to actually look like a quote you have to put [ QUOTE=username ] at the beginning and [ /QUOTE ] at the end (but remove the space after the first brackets and before the last one). The username is the actual DIS userid of the person you quoted.

If you want to quote multiple people, you copy & paste each one individually and then add the quote info at the beginning and end of each one individually. You can copy & paste everything you want to quote into a word program and then copy & paste into your reply. Hope this makes sense.

Examples with spaces

[ QUOTE=username ] testing [ /QUOTE ]

Thank you. I'll have to see if I am talented enough to get that to work! :)

I know how to make it look like a quote, I just can't get it to post the person's name in there that made the quote :sad2: .

You can use the quote button at the bottom of their post then copy and then hit back botton to post on your post.

cool, so what do I do if I want to just quote a couple of lines and not an entire trip report?
