Isn't it funny how a line from a TV show can stay with you for years? I still remember this line, and I'll bet half the posters here won't even recognize it.

"A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants".

Makes me smile every time I think about it.

NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!!!

This is one I will never forget:)

Amberle3, that's from my favorite episode of "Mary Tyler Moore" when Chuckles the Clown dies. The priest quotes that line during the eulogy when Mary can't keep from laughing. Hilarious! :teeth:

How about this one? "Mom always said, 'Don't play ball in the house.'"

I'm a middle school aide and last year in Social Studies the teacher said something about Albania. I sit in the back and I went Albania -- then he looked at me and said -- Albania and in unison "It borders on the Adriatic" and started cracking up. All the kids looked at us like we were nuts.

Remember when Coach helps Sam study for his GED on Cheers?

Many years ago DH and I were watching Saturday Night Live and they had this little skit with Tony Randall where one of the characters had no short-term memory. He kept acting surprised to see Tony Randall over and over. Just a stupid little skit but DH and I always say, "TONY RANDALL" whenever we can't remember something that we just did.

Not really that funny to anyone else, but it's become part of our lives. :hyper:

Ever since Home Improvement aired I have a tendancy to say "Hi dee ho" to people I meet. I guess I just liked Wilson.:)

As I was reading the postings up to yours, thats the exact one I thought of. I am such a Brady Bunch geek. "Marsha, Marsha Marsha.

I like this one from Designing Women: In the South they don't ask you IF you have crazy people in your family they ask you which side of the family.

Al-ban-i-a! Al-ban-i-a! You bor-der on the Ad-ri-atic! Your ter-rain is most-ly moun-tain-ous and your chief ex-port is chrome!

Yes, folks... I'm officially a dork now ;)

One of my all-time favorite quotes was from "The Honeymooners."

Ralph (Jackie Gleason) was mad at Ed (Art Carney) for handcuffing them together and not being able to find the key. Ed pulls out a cigarette and asks Ralph, "Mind if I smoke?" Ralph replies, "I don't care if ya burn..." :teeth:

I loved that show!

I feel like I'm jumping in and out of a hot bath!
Edith from All in the Family as she was going through the change of life.

Funny at the time but now that it's part of my life, not so humorous. :p

Roberta

I'm a Friends geek and lines from Friends pop into my head all the time! Of course none that I can think of under pressure right now! ;)

I love the Simpsons. My favorite line is:

"Alcohol! The cause of ... and solution to... all of life's problems!"

I remember that one! Isn't it Tom Hanks who keeps saying it?

ok - this one is pretty recent.

I watched a REALLY bad sit-com (maybe last year?) It's not on the air anymore...i think it was called "Married to the Kellys"

Anyway...the grandfather walks through the kitchen towards the backdoor and says to the characters sitting in the kitchen

"Don't mind me...just going out for a fart-walk"

I nearly peed my pants when I heard that I was laughing so hard.
