Sorry if this is posted somewhere already but I could not find it. I was wondering how to quote someone in a post. I know about the quote button at the bottom of the post but what if you want to respond to for example one sentence of someone's post and not the entire post. Any ideas? Thanks!

Just delete what you don't want; that's what I did here. You just need to keep everything in the brackets, including the brackets.

Thanks for the info! I kind of thought about doing this but I thought maybe there would be an easier way or some kind of button I was missing.

Unfortunately, you have to manually delete like the poster above but the quote button is still a good start. Welcome!
