Quit rooms at OKW?

I have stayed at OKW before and found it to be really loud. I do not sleep or do not sleep well. I'm taking a fan for some noise, maybe block out some bus noise and such. Can someone who stays here frequently, tell me the quitest street or sections in which to stay. We stayed on turtle pond before and were near a bus stop. Thanks, ooopppssss, misspelled quite in my subject line.

We have stayed there about 7 times and love it!..........never had a noise problem, except I have to admit the heads are a bit noisy and use a *power flush*!

But I would agree with you.......if your a light sleeper staying away from the bus stops would be a good idea!

just request a quiet room away from the buses (probably away from the hospitality house, as well). one example that i stayed at would be building 49&50 - the buses turn around before they get to your building...

I totally agree with you that some areas at OKW are very loud. We had a studio in building 14 that was right by the bus enter/exit area into the resort. It was non-stop bus noise. We have also had 2 quiet stays at OKW - building 31 and 46. I have also found that studios seem to be louder than larger villas. In the studio, the door to the outside is inside the sleeping area (for bus/neighbor noises to sneak in), whereas in the larger villas, the door to the outside is in the living area, not the sleeping area. I now request top floor, away from the bus turn around areas. When you get your room assignment, look at the map to see where it is. If it is a loud area, just ask nicely for another room.

We were in building 46 and it was quiet.. But then again.. I have slept through earthquakes.. .LOL

I've stayed on Turtle Pond three time, South Point twice, Millers Road, four times, Peninsular Road once and never had a noisy villa.
