Tell me about the "quiet pools" at CSB----- 6 days in the same room with our teenager and 11 year old.

Can Mom and Dad expect to find a quiet, romantic spot -- or opportunity for private time at this resort's pools?????//

Or anywhere for that matter---
Thanks:jester:

I'm not sure which resort you mean--is it Coronado Springs or Carribean Beach? or somewhere else?

I wouldn't expect any of the quiet pools to be quiet! LOL! Quiet pools just mean there are no slides in it. At the CBR resort the quiet pool was just as loud as the themed pool. Kids were playing with balls and screaming and carrying on. At the Poly the quiet pool was also mobbed with kids.

I believed in the myth of the "quiet pool" until my most recent trip. Several weeks ago I stayed at CSR in building 4. It overlooked the pool. It was a lovely view from my room but it sure wasn't quiet. Sunday night it sounded like a party in my room.

I have been to CBR many times but never stayed that close to a quiet pool. I will be asking now when I check in if it overlooks the quiet pool. There are many times though at CBR the pool is empty except for us. It is probably like that at CSR but not at night on the weekends.

Quiet pools are "officially" only open until 11pm, if the noise becomes a problem call the Front Desk they will have security deal with the problem.

Quiet pools do not have rules that you have to be quiet so unless you are being obnoxiously loud then security won't do anything about it. When I said kids were screaming and playing they were not any different then at the regular pool. They were just having fun. Security will put a stop to anyone being in any pool after hours whether it is a quiet pool or the themed pool. I just thought the OP ought to know that Quiet doesn't mean peaceful. It means less fun things to do there. It doesn't stop the kids from being in them though as I have seen numerous times.

The quiet pools are open 8 AM till 12 PM, it is the same as the main pool at CSR.

At CBR the main pool is open 7:00am to midnight
Lifeguard and slide hours can change

The quiet pools are open 24 hours at CBR.

At the Beach Club villas security did remove several people during our last stay, due to excessive noise.

I think as long as the noise level is not enough to bother the neighbors, they over look the closing times at some resorts.
