Is there a quiet(ish?) place anyone can recommend for a conference call in the Magic Kingdom? I can't get out of it but would prefer not having to miss out on seeing my kids enjoy a CRT breakfast, which would happen if I have to stay at the hotel to do the call.

+1 for the Contemporary. Just take the monorail over and have your call. There are many places you can find a quiet corner. As a PP poster stated go to the floor below Chef Mickey and no one is ever there.

Not really anywhere I can think of of in MK that won't potentially have kids or noises in the background. If its a quick call or you can be on mute then you could try the book stores in Liberty Square, you'll never see kids in a book store on vacation! :confused3

My husband has done conference calls at every park I think lol. I think back in tomorrowland that bathroom area way in the back is good. Maybe even up by first aid between Casey's and Crystal Palace would work also. If you're mostly listening and not talking too much those would work. Also depending on the date, the area up by tomorrowland terrace may not be very busy.

Tommorowland Terrace is a good suggestion. I've had a few phone calls. Another suggestion is Tortuga Tavern, in Adventureland across from Pirates of the Caribbean. When it's not serving food, you can still sit inside the area, there should be no one else around.

I have tried just about everywhere at some point and the closest to quiet has been either a bathroom stall or a second floor table at Columbia HH. There is no escaping the music/noise when in broader public areas. I tried a call near the rest rooms by Space Mountain last spring - crown noise was manageable, but you had the noise from the speakers - "Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow" - and it was quite loud.

When are you going? It's possible to find some peace and quiet inside the entrances and queue areas of attractions that are closed for refurbishments.

Go out the gate and start to walk over to the contemporary once you past the busses it's plenty quite

There is also that back walkway that runs between the fantasyland train station and space mountain-don't recall if there are any benches back there to sit down but I recall it being pretty empty when we've walked along it in the past

I did a work conference call back by the Fantasyland train station to the left of the bathrooms. There's nobody around there at all.

Don't take the monorail to the Contemporary to do the call. Just walk. There is a coffee bar in the first floor lobby and you can sit there. There are also a lot of quiet spots in the park. There is a walkway behind Tomorrowland Speedway that connects Tomorrowland and Storybook Circus. Benches and generally no one there. The risk of having the call in park is that there is a lot of background music and noise. If you can spare the 10 min round trip walk to the Contemporary, go there. The connection will probably be better there too, to be honest. We go frequently enough that my husband has had plenty of conference calls and he says go for the Contemporary.

The queues and entrances would be blocked with walls, and to try to go behind a refurb wall (or even into a closed attraction) would most likely get you escorted out of the park.

It's quiet until a train comes by - then people wave and holler at you, and the train may blow it's whistle. The rain also is rather noisy.

Until the train arrives and lets off some steam, uses its whistle, and the announcements start.
