Just booked our hire car for when we go away later this month! Quidco are currently offering £15 off with 11% cashback so after the £15 discount price for economy 2dr auto gold rate (learned its rare for them to have 2dr cars now) price is £260 less quidco = £232 for 2 weeks! (Valid on minimum £150 bookings and booking dates up til the end of April) or 17% cashback for July and August departures) :)

That seems good x Just checked our dates for feb and we could get a mid sized SUV if it pays for £129 for the week.

Has anyone used Holiday Autos? Does the Quidco normally pay?

That sounds a very good deal, don't know if you do the same but we untick the total damage excess waiver and add the max to get the full tank of fuel and additional driver! We have used them before and quidco are usually good at giving the cashback, they do take the first £5 each year you use them but still worth it when you use them for things you book online, I've had over £300 back of them! :)

I've tried to do the one account affiliate link that Wayneg has provided lots told times on here. They automatically brings the cost down by 15%. (This us having linked through quidco).

When it gets to the booking screen where the promo code is, I have tried to use the code Quidco provided for the £15 off plus 11% cash back but it says invalid code.

Did you have the same problem? Can't get my head around that one, maybe I've made an error?

I went straight onto quidco and used the code that pops up, sometimes the box with the code hides behind the page that comes up and you have to drag that page down to see it (hope that makes sense) then copy the code and when you get to the payment page it asks for any codes near the bottom, you don't have to put your card details in at this stage and it will show the reduced price, hope this helps!

The code I used was APRILWW10 but this is only for bookings to be used by the end of this month! :thumbsup2

That's the code I attempted entering. Maybe it's because I uses the affiliate link which automatically takes 15% off which brings it under the £150 for the April code to work x

Will try on my computer in the morning, sometimes the iPhone makes things a but weird (inc my spelling) x

Thanks for the heads up. If I can get the mid size SUV for £129 I think we'll book as seems a good price!

Looking at your countdown, I assume you don't go till July/August - the code quoted in the OP is for bookings for cars to be collected before the end of April. If you are looking at July/August, that is probably why the code is not working.

I'm not going to be winning any awards for intelligence this week - what on earth was I reading not to have seen that! Thank you for pointing it out x:rotfl2:

Looks as though Quidco are offering increased cashback of 17% for July/August bookings though - had you taken that into consideration?

Yes, but I am looking for Feb 2014 (August hire already done x) Shamefully I started the process and as I put in my dates literally smacked myself on the forehead as realised that offer was for July / Aug and I was going in Feb!!! When will I learn!

Wow. These offers look great. I've personally always found cash back sites a little bit complicated...maybe that's just me being dim though?

Lol, I was the same but quidco is def worth doing, anything you book or pay for online go through them first, just look in the search tab to see if the company you want to use qualifies (most do) then click on their best offer and it will take you to the website you want and just use as normal!
