QuicKutz Silhouette?

I've been looking at this machine online. Wondering if it can be bought in any stores? Also looking for discounts on it. Does it ever go on sale? I've been looking for the original not the SD version.

I have a project to do at our Elementary School and this looks like just the thing to help me, but it is sooo expensive. I'm worried about ordering online and I also need it sooner than later.

Since you are looking for the original, you could check craigslist or check one of the scrapping sites that specialize in die cutting machines. There may be members that are looking to upgrade their machines. paperthreads.com is the one that immediately comes to mind. I sold my barely used Craft Robo (which was the same as the original Silhouette) on craigslist because I was specifically looking for a quick sale and a local buyer. (I upgraded to a KNK, but sometimes I wish I also had a Cricut for quick, simple jobs.)
