Hi all,
I imported some HD video I took into my Windows XP computer. (I didn't install the software that came w/ my D90 - just haven't gotten around to it and not sure if there's even anything in there for HD video.) When I play the video using Windows media, it lags and the video is not synched w/ audio. However in QT it's fine even though it imported as a .avi video. Strange. Anyway, I wanted to edit the video and stitch some together because the D90 only videos in 5 minute increments. On Apple's QT website, it says that you can import HDvideo using a firewire camera. But my camera doesn't have a firewire connection. It has a USB connection. So can I use QT Pro to edit my video?
Or is there no way? I want to know before I download and pay for QT Pro.
By the way, for everyone who says they wouldn't use their D90 for video...I said the same thing. I was really impressed with the quality of the video I took and didn't experience and 'rolling shutter' issues. I think you just can't do real fast pans (as some have reported) and it's fine. I videotaped handheld and I did pans and it was fine.
Thanks in advance for any help!
