We arrived on June 4th for our first trip home. We used ME and had no problems. It took a little less than 1.5 hours from landing to the resort. Just pack a sweater, the bus is cold.
The check in process took a LOOOONG time. I had to deal with a CM that kept making the cards wrong. She was classifing my parents as children, and my children as adults. It was painful. But she gave the kids their own Disney adventures magazine and there is a TV playing cartoons in the lobby, so the kids didn't mind a bit. We had our park tickets delivered to the resort. We had no problems with that at all.

Our 2 bedroom villa (room 124) was ready. We checked it out, changed and then went swimming. I have to say that my kids loved SAB. The only part they didn't like was the rough walls. We had a few severe scrapes on their feet. They didn't like wearing the water socks because of the sand. They played like crazy and enjoyed making friends there. They said the slide took too long to wait, so they played everywhere else. I took a tube, but really didn't need it. We stayed in the two main pools mostly. Everyone enjoyed the spas as well. The pool never felt overcrowded and they did check for resort cards on the weekends

The room was pretty close to the TV room and sitting rooms at the entrance, so my mom and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I loved the decor. They were very comfortable. BCV has so many places that you can curl up with a good book. I have to say that the room was nice. Plenty of room for the seven of us. It was a dedicated 2 bedroom with an "EPCOT" view. We could see the high fireworks at night. Just lovely. The condition of the room was decent. Chips out of the dining table and slight stains on the sofa, but nothing that bothered us. The bathrooms were clean. The only thing that I didn't like was sweeping up sand every night. I liked being able to do laundry when I needed to.

If you go, try the Caesar salad and clam chowder at the Marketplace. They were tasty. We had a car the first and last day, so we didn't have to grocery shop there, but they did have basic staples. We had to buy milk towards the end of the stay. If you have a car, I recommend the new Super Walmart just off of 535. It is huge and open all night.

I didn't get that many Welcome Homes , but it sure felt like home . Thanks for reading. Have a great day!

Glad you had a great time.

Thanks for the heads up on the pool, maybe I will get my little ones water shoes just in case.

We are going in August, I keep watching Great Hotels from the Discovery Channel on the Beach Club, I have it on Tivo.

Sounds like a great trip home. BCV is our home resort and we are homesick. Our next trip isn't until Dec., so it's great to hear about everyone else's vacations.

We were there the same time as you. I haven't submitted a trip report yet but we had a great time too. Just wish we could've stayed longer. Annmarie
