We leave on Saturday morning and have a rental for the first time. What is the quickest way to the Dolphin from MCO? Any suggestions appreciated!
Surprised you got no replies on this - it's really simple.
The posted directions at MCO will take you out the south entrance of the airport, which is the way you want to go. About three miles south of the airport, you'll see an entrance to the Greeneway - go right, headed west on the Greeneway, where you'll have two $1 tolls.
Exit the Greeneway at the International Drive exit, route 536. This takes you past I-4, and right in to WDW, where it becomes Epcot Center Drive. Take the second exit after crossing under the "Welcome to Walt Disney World" arch. This exit I believe is posted as "Epcot Resorts" or "Disney MGM Studios", or maybe both. It will drop you right on to Buena Vista Ave, heading west.
After maybe four traffic lights, you'll see a Hess gas station on your right at an intersection. Turn right at this intersection, and you'll pass the Boardwalk, then the Beach Club, then the Yacht Club, and then you'll come to the Dolphin.
Hope this helps, and anyone out there, please correct me if I've made any mistakes.
Aside - while you're at the Dolphin, try to find time to have lunch at "Fresh" - it's the best buffet on property, I'd say. Not just "more of the same", but lots of interesting food. (The breakfast isn't as good, and for some odd reason, they're not open for dinner.)
