Hi! My husband and I will be leaving the cruise to go check into Boardwalk Villas (yay!), and we're wondering about the quickest/most cost effective way to get into the parks after our cruise. We have a couple options right now:
- express walk off and get an uber or taxi (thinking about $80, does anyone know about how much this might cost?)
-express walk off and rent a car one way to drop off at Swan (about $70)
-magical express ($70 for the both of us)

I'm leaning toward the first as our time in the parks is limited so I'm worried about the extra time it would take to get the rental car and drop it off and how long magical express would take to get us to Boardwalk.

I'd love to hear opinions and suggestions!

Definitely not Magical Express. While it's a great way to travel, you do have to wait (even if you're off and through customs and ready to go) for the bus to fill up a little for your hotel and that can leave you sitting there letting time tick.

I would plan a car service in advance. Our last cruise we did this and it was awesome, walked off the ship, through customs, and into a waiting vehicle and we were off. Worth the planning and cash.

Great to know that you'd still have to wait for a while! Which car service did you use?

Well, DCL transfers (not Magical Express) don't depart the port until 9:00 for the resorts, so that would be out.

A pre-arranged transfer service will likely be your fastest and best bet, though it could be a bit more expensive for only a couple; at 3-4+ people and luggage, it is usually also the cheapest option.

We have used Happy Limo and more recently have been using Tiffany towncar. Both are $140 from port to WDW and both are good.

Have you looked into one way car rental? That could be the quickest and cheapest. I think the last time a car rental from port to Orlando was about $50. And I think Enterprise will come pick it up at the resort, or if not, drop you off at resort.

Fastest would be teleportation, but it does not exist. Second fastest would be by helicopter but is cost prohibitive and limited landing space. By vehicle, most likely a car service.
