I know this is a stupid question from someone who has been to WDW 12 times but I need to ask.

What is the quickest route to Dumbo upon arrival at MK?

We always end up turning right at the hub and going indirectly. Can you get through the castle?

Need to get to Fantasyland ASAP for DD nearly 2!!!!!!

Thanks

Through the Castle is definitely the shortest. Unless they've stopped access due to Cinderellabration.

"I" think the quickest route is to go to the right before the castle, turn left at the teacups and walk briskly up the hill and to the right side of Dumbo.
If we are forced to do this ride I make sure we are there at opening and waiting at the spoke of the hub leading to the teacups and get there immediately. You can certainly go straight and up through the castle, but I believe this route to be a little slower and certainly more crowded
Good luck

I agree with this. There are always lots and lots of people trying to force their way through the castle. We take the path just to the right of the castle. It may, technically, be longer (can't say as I've ever measured it ;) ), but in my experience, it's a much nicer walk without hundreds of people fighting for the space...especially if you have a stroller!! :flower:

Well, if you can't get through the castle (which I don't know if it's still possible with Cindarellabration), then slide to the right as suggested, but you don't have to go all the way to the tea cups - you can hang a left just across the bridge (at Belle's storytime) and go right to the back of the castle (it takes you past the wishing well, if I remember correctly) and you end up in the courtyard at the back of the castle. In my mind's eye, this seems like a quicker route, rather than going all the way around Winnie-the-Pooh to the teacups. But I could be wrong.

Based on our experience before Easter, the route through the castle is not blocked off at the start of the morning before they have begun Cinderellabration shows. It was a pretty fast way to Fantasyland and not too busy for us whenever we went to MK shortly after opening that week, but it was also 7:00 am MK EMH every morning that week.

You can get through the castle mid-mornings--as of last week, anyway. We never got there right at opening and still went through the castle. Both days, we were there by 9 or so and it was a 30 minute wait for Dumbo, which grew to 40 a short while later.
