I know I saw it on here somewhere but I can't find it. DH is leaving Monday for Universal and I told him I read the quickest way to get over to WWoHP...I remember thru Suess Landing and then....something about a path down by the lagoon.

Any help would be great!! Thanks!!

Right at the entrance to Seuss look left, there is a path that goes left of Green Eggs and along the water past Sneetch Beach. Follow it along and you will skip the longer, normal route through Seuss. At the end of the path, turn left across the bridge and into Lost Continent and on through onto WWoHP.

Is the right side to WWOHP still for resort guests? When I went last year you weren't able to go right through SL to get there as I had to go through Marvel & JP because I wasn't staying on property. I was wondering if that was still the case & how do these new entry passes work & will they be used in September due to the lower crowds?

When implemented, the passes to get into WWoHP are very much like Disney's FastPass, but in this case they are used merely to enter WWoHP. They have no value once inside. In September they may or may not be in use--but my money's on "not" on most days, especially weekdays.

I haven't heard lately if they're funneling onsites through Seuss/LC and offsites through JP.

Thanks for the tip! Will be a big help and any help is most welcome.

When I was booking my Sept package at an offsite preferred hotel the 1 hour early entry was offered...Mid September...

What I am confused about is waht was just posted above...So if I an offsite but at a preferred hotel, Universal is gonna send me one way and the guests at its 3 onsite resorts will go the other....How much of a difference does that make?...I know its a bit longer of a walk

You're right--poor choice of words on my part. I forget that some offsite partner hotels also offer EE. I meant that those with EE go one way, everyone else the other.

When they were doing this, I think the non-EE folk would still enter the park earlier than official open and then queue up outside WWoHP on the JP side. My assumption was that Universal did this so as not to clog up the front gates with all the Potter-philes (who didn't have EE). Someone can correct me if I have this wrong.

Thanks for the short cut info! I just looked at the online interactive map along with the shortcut directions...

It looks like the bridge from the left side of Suess landing into Lost Continent is a covered bridge? Once you are on Lost Continent can you walk straight through to archway to WWofHP? (ie, sort of through the huge arm and trident) Or do you have to bear left and walk closer to Mythos restaurant?

Once in WofHP, I assume you continue walking towards the back to get to FJ....they maps never really show where the the ride entrance is..
Thanks!

The SL/LC bridge is not covered--more like a railroad trestle with trusses above you. I think the main path through LC is best way to go--never tried cutting through by the trident as I don't think it makes a big difference. The SL shortcut is quite a bit shorter than the main route IMO. And yes, FJ would be the last thing you come to in WWoHP if you enter from LC.

Are they still filtering on site guests through Suess & regular park goers through JP? I was just wondering so I can know what direction to go. I knew about the on-site only last year & walked through an empty Marvel, JP & LC & basically walked right on FJ. I just wanted to make sure I could do that again if needed but i'd love to do the right side if its possible. Any info would be appreciated! TIA!

I don't know, but my suggestion would be to try to go the way you want. If it's not allowed, I'm sure there'll be TMs to stop you.

Do you have to buy a special package to get early access or do you just need to stay at one of the on-site or partner hotels? We are staying at the Fairfield near Universal and they are a partner hotel - do we just need to show our room key to get early access to WWoHP?

My understanding is you need to book the partner hotel through Universal, not just stay there.
