DH and I always used Microsoft Live to track our Budget and both of us could make changes and see what was going on at all time. Now that it is Skydrive, he cannot access it at work (must be an encryption problem of some sort). So, this is not working anymore.

I tried Google Docs, but did not like it as much as the Excel features were limited.

Now I am going way off track and thinking a program like Quicken or similar is what we need.

The Quicken online wants to 'connect' to your bank information. Is this safe? Does anyone use it?

Do you have any other similar suggestions?

The only thing we need is a way that we can both access it from work and home.

TIA!

I've been using mint.com lately and really like it. Its encrypted and recommended by basically everybody (including major news organizations).

Look it up, you can see if you like it before you sign up

I use a program called YNAB Pro (www.youneedabudget.com). It's not an online program, though - so it'd be accessed through one computer - however they just released an iphone/itouch app that allows me to make any updates "offline", then synch it with my computer at home.

What I like about it, is that the ability to connect to your banks is manual, so *I* am the one controlling the program's access to my info. I used another program before that would access my accounts automatically when I started up the program - I didn't like that!

I've also heard good things about Mint.
