Quick WOC question

I've only seen WOC twice, and the last time was years ago when I was pre-kid. I vaguely remember the whole cattle-call experience, but no details. We ran this morning to get FPs and are home now, so I can't ask a CM.

My main question: I was wondering if we can take strollers in to the viewing area?

We're in the Blue area - any tips to get good viewing? When it says it opens at 7:45, what time do we line up? Can one person save a viewing spot and have others join (like you would for a parade or Magical Map or something), or is that a bad idea?

Thanks!

This is probably too late, but you can take strollers into the viewing areas. Best viewing for the blue section, I think, is up against the railing. There is a good map on the first page of the WOC Superthread that shows where good viewing is in each section. How early you line up totally depends on how much time you are willing to invest for a good spot. We usually invest up to 90 minutes, but have waited as little as 30 minutes, for specific spots. If you are tall, you won't have to wait as long since being in the back won't be a problem. One person can save a spot for others in their party, but it is considerate to your fellow guests to take turns or to have more than one person holding the spots long term. For example, I wouldn't ask one person to hold 4 or more spots for 90 minutes. We usually have at least two of us holding the spots so that everyone gets a turn to go to the restroom and to get a snack. For larger groups, more people saving spots would be better.

It is not polite to have someone "save" spots for you. If you want to see the show, you should stand in the line.

It is considered acceptable for one or more people to save a group's spots (e.g. a Dad or Mom saving spots for the whole family) while the other guests take turns going to the restroom and/or getting a snack or drink. As long as the guests return to their spots within a reasonable time frame, the CMs allow this and don't mind. What is not acceptable is one person saving a row of spots for a very large group of people while those other people ride rides or shop instead of saving their spots.
