Quick weekend getaway

Doing some Disney math and just noticed that my DH Birthday and our school calendar are in sync!! Would love to do a quick weekend to the parks- Halloween party and possibly Star Wars fireworks/Epcot. Will be using Disney transportation- so proximity key. Since fall discounts have not been announced- want to stay somewhere that doesn't break the bank but would be open to a discounted deluxe room. I'm drawing a blank- any ideas??

CR is my resort of choice for the "quick weekend trip" category, especially one that includes a party. Love the walkability factor.
