What is the best way to get to YC from MGM Having Dinner at 50's PT at 5PM but need to be at YC marina by 8:30 PM .

It looks like you have plenty of time.
You can walk (15min)
or you can hop on the boat from MGM to the Yatch Club (the wait maybe longer)
The boat will make a stop at the Swan/Dolphin before stopping at the Yatch Club
:thumbsup2

Are you doing the Epcot's Illumination Cruise??

Thanks Lilo312 could not remember if there was a boat from MGM to YC . How much time do you think I need if taking the boat? Yes I am doing the Illumination Cruise.

The boat (Friendship) trip from MGM will take about 17-20 minutes to the Yacht Club.

The walk would be around the same amount of time, although walking to the Yacht Club may be close to a half-hour as its across the lake, so you'd have to take a route over past the Swan and Dolphin (to get to the Yatcht Club doick) and that's a big loop.

As was said, you will have to "wait" for the Friendship if its not in the dock at MGM, so add another 10-15 minutes (worst case).

For peace-of-mind, allow 45 minutes to an hour to get to the IllumiNations Cruise departure dock (last-minute restroom breaks, etc).

We always walk. One night, we wanted to get from IllumiNations to Osbourne Family lights at MGM. It was about 9:30 or so when IllumiNations ended, and we needed to be at MGM before they closed at 10:00. We made it in 23 minutes...no, it wasn't a leisurely walk..more like a race walk type stride, but we made it. Normally, it takes me about 15 minutes to make the walk from the entrance to MGM to BW, walking at a nice pace. Add about 8 minutes to get to YC. But, when you get to the end of the walkway, do not go right. Head left, up and over the bridge to S/D, and stay with the lake on your right. You will end up at the Marina. If you take a right at the end of the pathway, you will have the lake on your left now, with BW on your right. Yes, you will get to where you want eventually, but it is about 4-5 minutes longer this way.

We don't take the boat from MGM unless we can board it without a long wait. If you get there, just as a boat is pulling in, and can hop on without a long wait, then sure, go for it. But, you could get there just as one is pulling away, you then have a 20 or so minute wait for the next one, then add on 5-10 mins for the next boat to unload, and then load up again, and the 15 minutes to make the run to the resorts.....well, it can be much quicker to walk.

Thanks everyone. I think I have plenty of time. ADR for 5PM worst being I'm not seated till 5:30. Be done by 7PM or before gives me an hour in a half. Thanks everyone eases my mind.
