Hello!!
We are currently in Anaheim enjoying our holiday, I never want to leave!
The crowds are heavy, but less than I assumed there would be. My family and I have been taking advantage of tackling Disneyland during the fireworks times. Last night we walked onto every ride in Fantasyland and also Haunted Mansion and Pirates. This is amazing compared to the 45+ wait times during the day.
I finally got to go on Space Mountain after waiting many years (every time I went the ride was closed due to Halloween changeover) the ride only just got into the darkness with stars surrounding us when all the lights came on and we had to do an emergency evacuation. I was so upset but luckily grabbed fastpasses the next morning and jumped straight on later in the day.
My mum and I did the WOC dining package at Wine Trattoria (may be spelt wrong) and it was worth every penny. We had the salad to start, which is a set menu, for main course I chose the Seafood pasta and my mum had the Herbed Chicken. The pasta was perfect, probably my favourite meal of the trip. We then shared the dessert platter which had a coffee chocolate tart (amazing!) and a vanilla something or other which was just okay.
After dinner, around 7.30, we headed straight over to the WOC line which was already getting fairly full. They started allowing people through just before 8 and we headed straight for the Preferred Dining section. We got front row and sat and waited. The waitress at WT told us not to head over till 8-8.30 but if you plan on getting close to the front I would head over ASAP.
We also saw alot of people lining up way before the park opened to get WOC fastpasses, as soon as the gates were opened it was chaos, many families ran which seemed quite dangerous. The cast members were trying to stop guests from running but nobody seemed to listen.
2 more days left of Disneyland!! Once we get back I will be sure to upload my WOC, food and various other photos!
