Quick Trip to the Mk Today

Went to the Mk today. Almost didn't go because today being a Saturday in mid june, I was dreading the crowds but I decided to go anyway. Before i went into the MK, i decided to go to the Contemporary and have lunch at the new restaurant, The Wave. I arrived at the the restaurant at around 12:30 and was seated immediatley. the restaurant was not crowded at all. The hostess seated me and presented me with a menu and said my waitress would be with me momentarily. I opened the menu and looked at the offerings and decided what i wanted within a few minutes. My waitress still had not appeared. Ten minutes later I was still sitting there and the waitress still had not appeared, i was starting to get irritated. Another waitress noticed I had not yet been attended to and she came over and asked if my waitress had been here yet, and I said no, so she apologized and said she would take my order. So she took my order and a few miniutes later the waitress assigned to my table finally appeared and I told her someone else took my order. The waitress who was orignally assigned to my table becasme upset with the waitress who took my order, and in effect taking her table. So anyway i eventually received my order, ordered the angus chuck bacon cheeseburger. it was good, no complaints except it was not cooked quite to my specifcations but no biggie. It was a good meal and good dining experience.
Then i walked over to the mk. To my surprise the park was not crwded at all. It was busy, yes and their were pockets of congestion, but definately not crowded. Space mtn was a 50 min wait and splash was just a 20 min wait, believe it or not. I think everyone.was at the Studios for star wars weekend, which was fine with me. I decided to go to check out the main st. barber shop and possibly have my haircut there as i have never done this yet but have wanted to but it is always a long wait. so i wandered over and there was no waiting! So i had my hair cut and even had piixie dust put on my hair!
Cost was 17.00 but the dont wash your hair or blow dry it, they probbaly would if i asked, and for extra cost. It was fun. I left for home around 4;30. Also, they have a new cover on the guidemaps. The new ones have the monsters inc laugh floor on the cover instead of captn jack sparrow. Opps, noticed i pressed to wrong button and put this in the wrong forum, meant to post on the trip report, sorry.
