First of all- thanks to all of you Disneyland vets that helped with tips, strategies and general information.
We just got back last night. We stayed 6 nights at HoJo's. We also spent a day at Huntington beach with great weather.
My family is WDW vets, so this was new for all 5 of us.
The crowds were pretty crazy all week, but manageable if you went early.
We enjoyed the original "Walt" feeling of the park. My kids were into his life story and curious about which attractions were his idea, etc...
Yes, the castle is small, but very sweet. We felt like we did not do much walking compared to WDW, since all of the attractions are so close together (that was nice).
The Aladdin show was incredible- loved the genie. The CM's and Californians were all so nice.
The fireworks- best I have EVER seen, loved them.
The weather was amazing- now I know why so many people live there!
My DD4 said- Mommy, I want to live here because it is so wonderful!
It was a great trip, nice to see a different prospective of Disney and nice to see a different part of the country.
Now back to reality...
