pre-trip: it's been a very anticipated vacation (over 4 years waiting). Our budget was low but our hopes were high. We did not have a honeymoon... so it was all in one trip.
hotel: Days Inn Universal
the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I should have listen to the DIS's friends and not book any Days Inn, but as I said our budget was low and I thought that we would not spend much time in the hotel (we didn't)
Day One: (24/04)
Shopping for groceries at the WalMart (DIS TIP) and getting to know the city. We got lost so many time 'cos all the American signs got us mixed up... we finally stopped at a store a bought a full map of the city. things got easier after that.
To me the WalMart was attraction itself. We had fun buying thing like "pork rings" (irc), cupcakes, poptarts and all the different and delicious snacks we could find (not to mention the calories)
THE PERFECT MEAL TO OUR FIRST DAY WAS CHEF MICKEYS: the best meal we had all trip. The service was the best (Marian), the food was perfect and I cried when Mickey kissed my hand.
We also did a resort tour and stopped at TTC to buy our Cirque du Soleil tickets and exchange our voucher.
Day 02: (25/04)
Magic Kingdom
I had so many childhood memories about this park. I really relived a lot of it this day. I cried a lot too
First we did Splash and Mountain (another DIS TIP), used Fastpass many times, but there're not lines or crowds in the park today. We ate at Pinocchio's (dirt tables and floor!!) and stayed till the park closed.
