Quick trip info please!!

I received a post card for a discount so I planned a quick trip Sun Aug 3-Tues Aug 5. Am I crazy? Will I regret this? I have never experienced summer crowds before. Is it comparable to Spring Break crowds? We got a great rate. We are paying $222 for two nights at POR. Any feedback will be apreciated.

Sorry as I've never been during that time (that I can remember), my only advice is have Fun and drink plenty of water as I'm sure it will be Hot!
