I'm taking my (almost) 6yo son on a surprise quick trip during his winter break in February. We'll be there for 4 nights rather than the usual 7, so I'm trying to make the most of our time and experiences knowing we won't be able to do as much as usual. So far I have scheduled -

Day 1 - Arrival late afternoon - Chef Mickey's dinner (open to changing this, maybe Yachtsman or Whispering Canyon)

Day 2 - Rope drop Epcot - lunch Fish & Chips stand (may switch to the CS in Mexico depending on FP results and which will be closer at lunch time)
Hop to AK after lunch - dinner 6:05p Tiffins (staying for RoL)

Day 3 - DHS - just for a couple hours in the morning for TSMM, Star Tours and the Muppets
Uber to the Poly for 11:45a breakfast at 'Ohana
Hop to the MK - Plaza garden Dessert Party 6:45p (will plan to be there at 7p)

Day 4 - Legoland - we have to take an uber back to Disney from the shuttle drop off anyway so considering going to Disney Springs for dinner or if we've exhausted just back to the food court at POP.

Day 5 - Departure in the am :(

I'm considering trying to switch Chef Mickey's to dinner on our departure day but worried about traffic coming back from Legoland. Alternatively just dropping Chef Mickey's all together. Would love Yachtsman Steakhouse but don't think ds will be as thrilled as he would would Chef Mickey's. :scratchin

I originally had Brown Derby for lunch on day 3 (earliest I could get was 12:05p) but then switched to 'Ohana figuring ds would like it and I've heard it's a great character breakfast.

My plan was to do all new restaurants throughout our trip, both TS and CS, Tiffens, 'Ohana breakfast and the dessert party are new for us and I would also like something new for our arrival night but there are really limited options for character dinners outside the parks (we've done 1900 already also). Maybe Whispering Canyon? I just don't think many things can top the fun of Chef Mickey's for a 6yo.

I'm totally open to suggestions. My son's dream is dessert for dinner so I think he will be okay after a large meal at 'Ohana at 11:45a and then the dessert party with maybe something small in between while we walk around. Anything small and quick we can grab walking around the MK that isn't another dessert?
