Quick ticket question...AP

If I purchase a 10 day ticket from Shades of Green (I am military) can I then take that ticket and upgrade it to an AP? I am thinking this is cheaper than going through Disney because the gate price is $30 more for the 10 day...plus I do not pay taxes on it.

You can upgrade, but there is no price advantage.
You will only get what you paid for the ticket in the transaction.
