Is the first or second week of December less crowded?

Both weeks are pretty good, although more crowded than they used to be. I would check out the dates for Pop Warner and go the opposite week, I believe that event is usually the 2nd week of December, so I'd go with the first week.

I'm looking at 12/1-6 right now. This trip is for my parents who are retired. I'm trying to get them there with the least amount of crowds possibly as they are both disabled.

Grr....flights out stink on the 1st. Now looking at Nov 30 to Dec 5. Any thoughts?

We've been going in early December for well over 15 years now and there isn't much different between the first two weeks. The one exception would be if Thanksgiving fell late in the month and then the first week of December would have some folks stretching a Thanksgiving vacation. Looking at this year's calendar, you should be just fine if you arrive on the first.

They might run into the Christmas Parade taping with Regis & Kelly. I'm pretty sure that is usually on a Saturday? Probably on Dec. 5th, but it only effects MK, might have a hard time getting a room on Friday though. When we went that week, I tried to add a day a few weeks before and the whole place was booked up for the Friday before the parade. Thanksgiving is the 26th though, so they should be fine for December 1st, most everyone will have cleared out by then. Looks like Pop Warner might be the week of Dec. 7th

Thanks for your help, everybody. I got them booked at SSR for Nov 30 to Dec 5 in a studio. I couldn't get Beach Club or Bay Lake (of course lol) so this will do. I was also able to put a request for a room in Grandstand near the buses and main lobby due to medical reasons. I am sure that this will get them a room in this section near the bus stop. The CM seemed to think so as well. If anybody has another idea as to what I can do, please let me know.
