Quick Swap Question

Hi everyone..
I have the Shows/Parades Swap coming up in a month or so.. I think I'm just going to do a 2 element swap... or do you want a page kit.. or maybe 1 group w/ page kits..

My question is.. do you all or would you all be interested in doing Tarzan Rocks in this?... I know we need to add the new shows.. and I'm gathering a list now of shows and parades... but I know we were at Tarzan Rocks in 2005...but I have yet to scrap it yet..

I want to include all 4 parks in this...
So, since I haven't been to MGM.. I need help with this!!!!!!

Also, what about a Character Meet/Greet Swap in July??? I'd be willing to host.. let me know if there is interest and I'll have Buffy add it to the list.. It would be due mid September (6 week turn around).. It would be meet and greet places at the parks... I'll add a list here..

I would definitely be up for the meet'n'greet.

I'm not so sure about the shows & parades. We only saw one parade, the spectomagic, two fireworks, wishes & illuminations, and three shows, Fantasmic!, Indiana Jones, and the car stunt one (which was lame because the finale didn't happen) I would have a lot of extras I wouldn't be able to use. Therefore, I won't vote for elements or page kit. Be happy to angel though if you need me.

See, that is the hard part with MGM, it might be best to keep that it's own separate swap.

This has the most up to date shows- it will not show the old ones. The new castle show is called Dream along with Mickey.

Nancy, Were you considering having any catagories for the Flower and Garden Show, Food and Wine Festival, etc? I know those are more in the Event catagory, but we haven't done those since I've been around either. There are a lot of great performances (Flower Power Shows, etc) during these events, too.

Are you doing a separate group for each parade, show...or all together for each park?

I've got so many photos of previous parades like the Millenium ones at Epcot, even earlier parades from the 1980's, and tons of different ones throughout the years at MK and MGM as well.

You mentioned that there are small shows and performers around the World Showcase. But also, there are various performers around MGM during the day doing improv....They're really funny and dress up in 1930's and 40's costumes. They draw the guests into their acting and it's really fun. I've got tons of photos of them, too. The same goes for AK....with DaVine and various other actors.

Also, there are Magic Music Days performances at both Epcot and Magic Kingdom. That may not be of interest. But, I've been involved in that.

Oh, and there is the Electric Water Pagent (on the 7 Seas Lagoon, etc).

That's a lot for one swap, though. Just some extra ideas, but maybe for later swaps......

YodasMom.. good points... I hadn't even thought about the event category!! Wow.. Let me play w/ these ideas this weekend..and maybe we can narrow things down more next week before sign ups on 4/6.. I know that I'd like to keep the parades/fireworks together.. the shows together.. and than maybe events together..

I hadn't really even given any thought to the various "street" performers throughout the parks.. That could be a swap in and of itself..

Cool!! I didn't mean to overwhelm you, Nancy. It's a lot for one swap and could probably be divided into 2 to 3 swaps, but they're just possible ideas.

I totally understand.. The event swap definitely needs to be it's own thing..

I'm more of an element girl too!! Sign ups are 4/6..
