Hey Disers!

While I'm ecstatic to have received Free Dining, I'm slightly concerned about the amount of food. Generally if I eat a restaurant meal I'm pretty full the rest of the day. My boyfriend on the other hand can probably eat his meal then some of mine, so I'm not worried there, because I know he'll finish up what I'm unable to eat!

For those of you who have used the DDP, do you prefer to use your QS credit at breakfast or lunch, assuming you use the TS credit for dinner? Or, do you prefer to do it a different way?

I want to be able to try all of the foods that I want to, without feeling like I'm constantly stuffing myself. We have our ADR's planned (Ohana, BOG, CP, Via Napoli, Yachtsman). We have one (or zero) ADRs each day with the exception of our MK day (we have CP in the morning and BOG in the evening). I honestly just planned to wing it for lunches - I know that sounds bad - but like I said my boyfriend eats more than I do so I have a feeling he'll be the one going "I'm hungrrryyyyyy" at 11 AM lol.

Part of me thinks with all the walking, I probably will be hungrier than I think I will be! I just don't want to have a ton of QS leftover at the end because we have a bunch of TS meals planned out and really no idea what we'll do for QS credits. Thoughts?

5 years ago, for the most part, we used snack credits for breakfast, QS for lunch, and TS for dinner. We did Hoop de Doo one day, so did TS for lunch that day. Ended up with extra QS that we used for breakfast one day, and extra snacks that we used for breakfast before heading to the airport.

We plan to do the same this time around.

I wouldn't use a CS for breakfast, except for on our last day we'll eat at our resort to fill up before our flight. But on park days we just get a snack to share or will eat some stuff in the room that we bring from home (granola bars, almonds, etc).

BUT since your worry is having too many CS credits and you said you don't need to eat as much, you could get a CS breakfast, snack for lunch/afternoon, and then your TS dinner. That puts some more time between your bigger meals and may help you use up your CS and get the most bang for your buck.

I'd rather leave with extra snack credits than CS credits because you can get some snacky stuff that you can take home...but you can't get a pancake platter onto the airplane! :lmao:

Thanks!

I figured I could work in a CS breakfast a few of the days. I'm usually better with a larger breakfast than lunch, so that would be good to space it out since most of our ADRs are for dinner. I would just hate to see those credits go to waste by the end of the week!
