Quick Service meals around Disney's Boardwalk?

Hi friends,

We are going to do three park days so will eat our meals there but the other four days we will spend in our bathing suits at the pools and then will go out for dinner reservations. I'm having trouble finding places we can grab a quick service in our area that are part of DDP. Can you help me?

I think that the surrounding resorts to us are close enough for us to walk to get something and it looks like they are the Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin. Is it true that we could (well, I could send my hubby) walk to them to get lunch for all of us? We wouldn't want to leave the pool to eat in a restaurant necessarily but maybe if it would be ok in our suits and cover ups.

Here are the list of quick service in those hotels. Can anyone tell me if they've eaten at any and if they are good or bad? We would just want salads or sandwiches for lunch at the pool. Nothing fancy. This is all there is right near us that takes DDP for quick service? Yikes!

Beach Club Marketplace
Hurricane Hanna's Grill
Boardwalk Bakery- this seems like only baked goods so not what I would be looking for.

Thank you for your help!

on the boardwalk..there is a pizza place, they have good pizza, and the bakery has fruit, good breakfast yummies, like :
Vanilla and Chocolate Donut Rings
Bagel
Assorted Danish
Cinnamon Bun
Sticky Bun
Assorted Donuts
Cereal with Milk
Breakfast Burrito
Egg Sandwich

Lunch:
Lunch Treats
French Baguette
Hard Roll
Fresh Fruit
Mixed Fruit Bowl

plus all the yummy sweat stuff..lol!!

There is a place right by the pool that has salads, sandwhiches...its the bar, but they have some yummy food too!!!

Depends on what ya looking for!! :O)

I am new to this but after looking at the DDP list, I don't think that pool place or the pizza place count toward the DDP, right? I did look at the Boardwalk Bakery menu and they have good lunch options so I think we could just do that every day if we have to but if anyone knows of any others that we can use for lunch on DDP that are good, I'd love to hear from you!

It's pretty limited counter service aroung there. Hurricane Hanas has a VERY limited menu. That is the only problem with the BC. The best bet is the really good couter services @ Epcot.

The Beach Club Marketplace has nice sandwiches and salads that they'll bag up for you and would be very easy for one person to go retrieve and bring back to the group.

Skip Hurricane Hannah's; the food is fine but it's just basic burgers, the service is very slow, and they wouldn't travel all the way across the Boardwalk that well.

If you ask me though, a corn dog & a slushy from the cart right in front of the Boardwalk is the perfect poolside lunch :)

The grilled panini sandwiches at the Boardwalk Bakery are really good. We eat at least one lunch there every time we stay at BWV.

there is a stickey at the top of hte boards on this very subject!
