We want to eat at places that have other offerings. I know I can look it all up on line (or at least I think I can).
We know that there are places ( all stars for example) that have the chicken dinner (which is great) but we want different things to eat.

Help?
Thanks.

Yes, you can look at every menu online at AllEars.net (along with prices which is nice).

Pretty much every CS location has a menu that consists of more than just burgers.

Epcot has my favorite CS restaurant, Tangierine Cafe. The Chicken & Lamb Shawarma Platter is excellent and my fav! Sunshine Seasons has a variety like asian food, sandwiches, etc. Epcot has probably the best CS food if you're looking for something a little different.

In MK you can visit Columbia Harbour House and get salmon w/ couscous (I've not tried it before), fish & chips, etc.

Flame Tree BBQ in AK has chicken, ribs, pork sandwich, chicken salad, etc.

DHS is lacking the most in quality (and choices)...Starring Rolls has huge sandwiches and delicious cupcakes, but they seem to close pretty early.

Like I said, just about every CS location will have more than just burgers...in fact, most don't have burgers. :thumbsup2

THanks! I will go to Allears.

Allears is a great resource, there are also menus on the Dis. This question is asked more than you know, and my response as always is, that after 50+ trips in 40 some years, we have NEVER even had a burger at WDW. The world showcase is a great place to sample, nearly every country has a CS, Sunshine seasons has something for everyone; I promise you will not have to go far to find great alternatives to burgers!!! :thumbsup2

At MK, often times we will leave at lunch, get on the monorail to either Contemporary, Poly or GF and eat at their CS. They all have unique offerings. Then back to MK for the afternoon. Breaks up the day and kids like the monorail ride.

At DHS we like Backlot Express (by Star Wars), Starring Rolls sandwiches, and Fairfax Fare (by R'n'RC) has some nice dressed-up hot dogs and BBQ entrees. Also, good selections at Min and Bill's Dockside (the ship) at the lake by the BAH.

Almost every WS country has offerings other than burgers. Tangierine Cafe is a favorite. The bakeries in France and Norway also have sandwiches. Sunshine Seasons in FW also has some good choices.

In MK, CHH and BOG.

In DHS, I think the sandwiches at Starring Rolls are great.

The suggestions about the monorail resort is great. Poly has very good chicken sandwich and adult grilled cheese (and a Dole Whip machine).

Second all the pps. My dh eats mostly Paleo, so we had to find CS places with real food. Columbia Harbor House was a favorite! He loved the salmon, and I had the fish & chips. There are a lot of WS places that have great CS food. I'm looking forward to Mexican and Moroccan. :) Flametree BBQ is good. Just check the menus.

The past 2 trips we have been on, I haven't had a burger at all. As everyone else has stated, a little research is all that is needed to find some great alternatives. My DS14, is hoping that Sunshine Seasons still has the soba noodle salad with the grilled tuna when we return in January.

We've had nine Disney trips, no less than 8 days at a time but usually 10, and eaten cs at least once per dY, if not twice. I remember DH getting a burger maybe 3 times total. I don't eat burgers, and I can assure you I had plenty of variety. We like Cosmic Rays (rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans), Columbia Harbor House, taco salad at Pecos Bills, chicken and ribs at Flame Tree bbq, anything from Tangerine Cafe at Epcot, LaCantina at epcot, Fairfax Faire at DHS for bbq and chicken, and most any of the value resorts food courts, and also CBR.

Thanks all.
I now am Gluten Free (and wasn't last trip) so that was the main reason for my request.

We will have lots of choices it looks like!

We're going thru the same thing - trying to find good GF CS options. If you write to the Disney Guest Service Special Diet folks off the Disney website, they can send you a list of restaurants that can make some accommodations for GF. Allergyfreemouse also has some good info about what is available where. Sadly, in a lot of cases,a GF hamburger looks like the best choice... If only they had GF bread at Staring Rolls!

One other good site I forgot to mention: glutenfreedairyfreewdw blogspot. They have reference sheets that you can print of products and their locations.

Thanks so much!!

I really enjoy the CS at Contemporary. They have a delicious grill mahi mahi (sandwich so it's on a roll) and a very tasty pot roast in the evening. One in our party went to WDW for the first time a few weeks ago and was surprised by all the options available at CS.

No you can't use a CS credit, California grill is a TS restaurant and a signature one as well. It would take 2 dining TS credits.

There is a great feature here on the DIS for searching menu's at every restaurant. If you want to know where you can find a particular food you just enter it into the menu search. Look at the dark-blue menu bar near the top of this page and hover over "Dining". Select "menu" from the drop down list. :disrocks:
