I realize this dinning offered weather it the reg or the quick serve is a matter of what you eat . But in general do you about break even.
Is it hard to know where u can or cannot eat and what u can and cannot order at each place. Or is every place able to serve you.
What about snacks. Which are included which are not.
Like expamle is the dole whip in magic approved snack.
Do u have to book reservations if going in mid may. Or wing it so u can eat when you hungry and either wait or go elsewhere or are the waits real long
Please any and all advise
On the quick service dining plan, you can eat a meal at any quick service restaurant. This link lists all of the quick service/table service restaurants -
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/m...ltDisneyWorld/en_us/PDF/2017DDP_Locations.pdf. Quick service restaurants do not take reservations, and table service are not included in the quick service plan, so you definitely wing it on the quick service plan. You can order any entree/drink from any quick service location. We've never used the quick service plan because it is more difficult to save money and we like to eat at table service restaurants occasionally.
All of the items that qualify as a snack item on the dining plan have a snack symbol next to them so it is easy to tell what you can and cannot purchase with your snack credits. And yes, the dole whip at Magic Kingdom currently is available as a snack item. Allears.net has menus that show which items qualify as snacks.
If you were to purchase the table service plan then you would definitely need advance reservations for places like Be Our Guest and many, many others. You could
probably wing it for some places, such as resort restaurants like The Wave or Captain's Grille, but no guarantees. If you tried to walk up to table service restaurants you might be turned away or told the wait was 1 hour or more depending on the restaurant. You can often find same-day reservations if you are willing to eat earlier/later than the rush meal time but again that depends on which park you are in and the time of year you go -- you would have better luck in early/mid May than late May.
You can save money using the table service plan if you intend to eat at a lot of buffets or character meals, but you'll need reservations for many of those.
If you go in May then the Flower & Garden Festival will be on at Epcot. That festival offers a number of food booths - menus here -
http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2017-...tival-outdoor-kitchens-menus-and-food-photos/ - and you can use a snack credit to purchase almost every food item at the booths (but not alcohol).
