When using a DDP Quick Service credit at a food court, like Pop Century or POFQ, if order a breakfast platter, etc., is there a side selection included? If so, such as what?
yes. the first time I tried the DDP I picked a breakfast item, a piece of fruit and a drink, when I got to the register I was told "no fruit, just the 2 items".
Yep. QS Breakfast is a rip-off
Once upon a time you used to get entree, beverage and 'dessert'. I usually got a big goopy sweet roll, and DH picked something in the fruit category.
Then I guess it was decided we didn't need that much breakfast

as others have said breakfast is not a good use of a dining credit. Last trip when we were a POFQ my sister and I used one snack credit for an order of beignets. More than enough for the 2 of us to share and there was so much food on the DDP we just wanted something to tide us over until lunch. and they were really good.
Yep. Just the entree or combo meal (platter) and the drink. No dessert, and no appetizer if you're on deluxe. They used to allow guests to substitute an extra beverage for the dessert, but that stopped in I think 2011.
Most students of the dining plan will tell you that a CS breakfast is one of the least "valuable" use of dining credits possible. TS breakfast, if you select a buffet or family style the value is better, but since breakfast is still cheaper than lunch or dinner, attempting maximization of plan value would require you to use the credits for lunch or dinner whenever possible.
we are not really breakfast folks here. But out of the 4 other trips to WDW I have never had a mickey waffle (gasp!). So one thing I do want to do this trip is have the breakfast platter with mickey waffles. lol I figure we will pay OOP and then we will split up the platter, little bit for DH and a little for me.
