I am so down about our trip being over that it has taken me this long to start my reviews...anyway, 5-16 was my 30th birthday dinner!

CAST: Me (30!), DH (34) was sick all day and could not make this meal...Drat! Mom (50ish) and aunt (65ish!)

We were seated at a nice table to the right of the dining room. I was so scared that Tara was going to be our server (saw a review about her right before we left!), but we had a wonderful girl whose name I can't remember.

I had the grilled beef kabobs and they melted in your mouth...absolutely delish! Mom had the cheddar cheese soup. She found it a bit spicy, but enjoyed it nonetheless. Aunt had a salad.

For main course, mom: free range chicken which she LOVED. She's not a beef eater but thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. I had the maple barbeque filet mignon. I loved the potatoes and I thought the meat was delicious until I tried my aunt's prime rib. She ordered it by accident (she was going to get the filet mignon too) and it was the best meal ever! I'm not usually one for prime rib but boy, was it tasty!

WE ordered dessert (we were on the dining plan). Aunt got the balsamic ice cream/strawberry dessert (yum), mom and I got the chocolate whiskey cake (yum yum!) They actually brought out a special dessert for my birthday (the chocolate mousse cup with "Happy Birthday" on the plate) so they wrapped my cake to go. It was so good!

All in all, this is my favorite restaurant. We enjoyed every bite and didn't feel overstuffed. The staff was so nice and the dessert was such a special treat. We cannot wait to go back!

We went for the first time last year and LeCellier is one of the "must do" restaruants for us. Thanks for the review.

I know what you mean about the prime rib. Our daughter had ordered it and gave us all a taste. It was excellent ... the tastiest prime rib we've ever had! DH had the NY Strip which was very tough and gristly, and wishes he would have gotten the prime rib instead. Oh well, next time!

I was there this night also and agree the food was wonderful. I am not sure it was you but there was a table of 3 women sitting by me and one was taking pictures of the food and I thought it might be a Dis member, we were sitting at a 2 top with the bench seat against the wall on the right side of the resturant. We were there at 6, also met Laurie and her family there that night. We also had a res. for Friday night also and enjoyed it just as much, if I ever get to go back to Disney I will be sure to eat here again. Linda

So glad to read your review. We're heading down late October and we've never been to LeCellier. I wanted to go and everyone else wasn't sure but I made our reservations for our last night. Now I really can't wait

Thanks for sharing.

My son and will be having dinner there for the first time during our next trip. :dance3:

This is my favorite restaurant also. I normally order filet migon, but after reading this thread I think I will try the prime rib on our trip in September. ;)

We ate there the SAME night you did.
We had a 6:40 ADR.
I got to meet another DISer....Goofy's girl...who was also there then. She posted above (Hi Linda!).

That was the only day of our 9 day trip that it rained. Ohhhhh!
We were the family of 4 wearing matching shirts, but it may have been hard to see them due to our ponchos & sweatshirts.

We enjoyed our dinner there also. We were quite full by the time dessert came.

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for sharing.

Thanks for sharing your review. For the past few years Le Cellier has been a "must do" for us. Looking forward to my December meal there.

We're finally going to get to Le Cellier on our second to last night this time around! DH is often a filet or ribeye guy, but I'm definitely ordering the prime rib! It's not even 9am and all I can think about is STEAK! :rotfl:

IT WAS ME!!!!! I can't believe I could've met a DIS member! My mom and aunt were with me and kept yelling at me for taking all those pictures!

Yes, it was the only day it rained on our trip too. I was so disappointed that DH had to miss this restaurant as it is his favorite too.

I just can't wait to go back already... :thumbsup2

I should have said something when I saw you taking pictures but I was afraid if you weren't a Dis member you would have thought I was a nutcase or something.

Hi Laurie it was nice meeting you at Disney, boy that was a yuckie first day at Disney but it did clear up and the remainder of the time was great. Linda

OP mentioned a review of a waitress named Tara, whats the scoop on that???
