We went from 6/12 through 6/19 and while I didn't take any pictures, thought I would share thoughts on where we ate.
-Crystal Palace, breakfast. We all enjoyed this, especially getting into the park early. Food was nothing over the top, but good. DS13 enjoyed the choc chip pancakes they made for him.
-Spoodles. We all really liked this, too bad it's closing. Bread was great, I had lamb shanks with polenta that were delicious, DD19 loved her shrimp pasta. Waiter offered DS13 the chance to sub fries for any side, so he had the steak kabobs, they put the sauce on the side for him without asking, and he subbed fries as the side. He loved this. Desserts were good, but not our favorites of the trip.
-Boma. Thought this would be my favorite, as I love all types of ethnic food, but it ended up being my least favorite. It was extremely crowded, so food lines were really long the whole time we were there. My husband and son thought food was "okay" but daughter and I were not impressed. Wouldn't go back.
-Teppan Edo. Big hit with everyone. Cook was entertaining, waitresses very sweet and helpful, food was delicious. Were surprised that we even liked the desserts as they didn't look all that tempting. DD and DH liked the chocolate ginger cake and I really liked the green tea pudding, although it's not the most attractive thing I've ever eaten.
-Raglan Rd. One of my DH's favorites of the trip. He loved the stew, which is one of his favorite foods. We both loved the bread pudding, I still dream about it.
-Tutto Italia. My DH's very favorite of the trip , and in everyone else's top 2.
Two had pasta entrees, one steak and one fish. All were delicious. Desserts were fantastic!
-Kona Cafe. My favorite as well as son's favorite. Loved the bread with macadamia butter (embarrassed to say we went through 2 loaves!). DS13 thought the teriyaki steak was the best thing he's ever eaten. Loved desserts, I had the kahlua torte (2nd favorite next to Raglan bread pudding), and everyone else had the Kona cones, which they really had fun with.
This was our first time using the dining plan, and we were really glad we did it. I compared how much it cost to what the food we ate cost, and we saved over $300. Granted we normally wouldn't order all those desserts, but it was a treat, and the real treat was not looking at prices. My son ate steak at every dinner and loved it!
