Thanks for posting your restaurant reviews.

Would you mind telling me what you had a R & C?? We have a PS there for next month, and have never been before. I am wondering about the Fisherman's Basket ( I think that's what it's called).

Thanks in advance-

Glad you gave favorable marks to Wolfgang Puck's Cafe - we plan to eat there in December. Was it crowded? Did you have to wait for a table? What did you order?

Thanks for any details!

Thanks for your reviews.

What time did you have breakfast at Chef Mickey's? I was wondering how you found the selection of items to be? Did they keep the buffet well stocked to keep up with crowds?

Thanks,
penny

P.S. Keep thinking Disney thoughts while you attack those mountains of laundry!

I'm most interested in Tony's and Storybook Princesses. You said Tony's selection was poor, but how was the quality of what you got? As for SP, is the C for food more for quality or selection? Thanks.

Why did you give The Princess Storybook food a C and atmosphere a B. We have a PS there and I was hoping that the food and atmosphere was getting better. I have heard some mixed reports. Thanks for your information. I am glad you had a good time.

I hope I can answer everyone -

R&C: I am a very picky eater so I actually had to eat off of the children's menu. I forget what it's called but it was a ground beef/cheese/potato platter. My hubby had the prime rib and said it was pretty good and the couple we traveled with had the chicken. They both really liked their entrees.

Wolfgang Puck: We had reservations - you can get them by calling the restaurant directly 2 weeks ahead of time. We got right in with no wait (6:30 pm). I had the barbeque quesadillas which were excellent and the white pizza as my main meal (also excellent). I forget what hubby had but I do know he really liked it (I think it was steak).

Chef Mickeys: both reservations were around 9:00 and although it was crowded we were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival (w/PS). The buffet was always well stocked and all of us thought the food was excellent.

Tony's: the menu was so limited that the only thing I found that I might like was the eggplant parm. It was pretty bad. My husband had a seafood/pasta dish and liked it. The couple we went with had eggplant parm (same reaction as me) and the spaghetti/meatbalss (okay - nothing to write home about)

Princess Bfast: we had all of the princess' at our table, which was a nice thing but the food was pretty bad. The first skillet that came out was pretty bad - cold food, bland & the french toast sticks were soggy???? The second skillet was much better but still did not compare to the food at Chef Mickeys. Although I must say the blueberry muffins were quite good!!

I hope this helps!!

we were also at rainforest cafe on the 20th and loved it- di you stay at the AKL???

we stayed in room 4425 (4th floor/Zebra Trail/Arusha Savannah). The only complaint I had was not being able to thoroughly enjoy the resort. We had soooo much going on. But the good news is that we are going back to AKL next year and will definitely plan "resort time". :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
