...because I don't feel like typing a whole lot.

Went to US/IOA and DisneyQuest today...

Parks not busy at all, most wait times were 5 mins or walk-ons.

First a note about Disaster...was quite good. As far as rehasing an old ride, this was done very well. It had a lot of humor, a great special effect where Christopher Walken really does look like he's live on stage, and most importantly, IMO...a freshened attraction that brought back a lot of movie-making magic.

Hulk was very rough today, didn't go on Dragons (my friend didnt want to do coasters, so had to skip it).

The land clearing is continuing at a blistering pace it looks like between JP and the Flying Unicorn. They've cleared a LOT of land, it goes practically up to the JPRA, with only a few trees in-between. Large steel structure being built directly behind Flying unicorn, looks like a standard steel frame right now, could be just a staging area for more construction later? (Sorry, no camera)

Sad news but Mythos didn't have my favorite mushroom brioche, I even asked the server to double check, but no go. So I had my favorite buffalo bbq chicken wrap instead.

One more thing, saw the Horror Make-up show today, and the one guy (Mike?) was practically in tears he was laughing and having so much fun the entire show, and the whole audience was having so much fun along with him. I mean I've seen the show before, but today he just couldn't stop! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the update. I'm so sorry to hear about the brioche! All future trips to the resort have been cancelled.

And The Horror Make-Up Show is one of the most fun experiences in the park. I love the girl plays Alex. She's hilarious.

Thanks for the HP construction update. I've been wondering what's been going on down there.

As to the brioche: NO!!!! They have to bring it back! It was just the best appetizer I've ever eaten. I was afraid that the mushroom specials would be temporary, but they NEED to put that brioche back on the menu!

a couple more notes....I got my highest score on MIB yet..512,000!

also, one more note on Disaster, the props in the waiting queue are pretty cool, but for some reason the shark in "Das Shurke" section freaks me out! I mean I can look at jaws and go on that ride all day, but seeing this apparent hybrid shark/machine just looked quite scary :scared1:
